Webstyler helps Pfizer help smokers
Campaign of the Year 2010
What else is to be said about how bad smoking is and how people should put their health first? It seemed advertising campaigns have said it all. Webstyler found a way of making people not just think about it, but involve them in this campaign developed for Pfizer. The aim of the campaign was to draw attention that smoking is not just a weakness, but a physical and psychological dependence needing medical help.
In order to do that, Webstyler created Nae Pop, the isolated and “possessed” smoker who, because of smoking, is far from having a normal life, inviting users to help him out of his dependence and think at their own. Webstyler offered users a memorable experience and interaction with Nae, attracting attention on the subject in an entertaining way. Because of the unusual approach, the campaign made a lot of people not only to share the campaign, but also to take a test and find how bad their dependence is on www.losethesmoker.com.
At the 10th edition of Internetics festival, the campaign was the star of the awarding Gala as it was recognized the best campaign of the year, winning Gold for the best interactive campaign and Silver for the best web site.
